Post review, hooray

Cool. I'm apparently on 'post review'. Very nice.

I make one little joke in the recent BOS thread, and I guess I'm now deemed a risk to the rx. I didn't even type anything in the post, I just posted two pics -- not even offensive pics at that: a pic of a cop arresting an old guy and another cartoon pic of a guy shredding documents.

I understand this site has to protect its advertisers from unwarranted bashing, but please, lighten up! I would think that even Mr. BOS himself, whoever he is, could see a smidge of humor in my innocent little post....

But it's probably best to put me on post review just in case I cause another flaming uproar.

I don't know what to make of this. I've seen a million posts more offensive then mine. Everything Railbird has ever posted, for instance.

So what's the procedure now? Am I supposed to send someone candyor kiss someone's ring or something to dispel the 'post review' hex? A 'pick-me-up' boquet to BOS perhaps? What do the bad kids do around here to get taken out of the corner?

Huh.

I was on it last week for posting LOCK CITY as the title of my picks thread in the baseball forum.

I guess certain jokes they take more offense.

Email wilheim and he will sort it out. I also got put on PR for making a comment in a BOS thread. All I posted was a quote from someone else and a couple LOL smilies.

I think the Rx is (correctly) making the stance that enough is enough here on the relentless bashing of a sponsor.

The problem is these threads are serious and can easily get hijacked if we allow cartoons or jokes to be posted in either a dispute thread or as in the case of Tooran a thread about serious legal trouble for someone (David Carruthers).

For the record Tooran was only on Post review a short time.

Fair enough, and thanks for the response.

In retrospect, I totally understand the removal of my post, all things considered. Even though I thought it was obvious that my post was in jest, it still wasn't appropriate in the context of the thread.

What bugs me is being put on post review for a few days for a post that was more or less innocuous. I'm probably just being too sensitive though. As Cartman would tell me, I must have gotten sand stuck in my vagina, again. Nothing an August poker tourney couldn't help me get over...
